Frequently asked questions

Is one dose of pneumococcal vaccine enough?

For most adults 65+, a single dose of PCV20 provides long-lasting protection. Your doctor will assess your vaccination history.

Can I get the pneumococcal and flu vaccines at the same time?

Yes. They can be given at the same visit with no reduction in effectiveness.

How long does pneumococcal vaccine protection last?

Protection is long-lasting. A single dose of PCV20 is currently recommended for most adults and covers 20 strains.
